Longtime friends Marie Diamond and Janice Waldman have always shared a deep passion for gymnastics, coaching, and inspiring young athletes. They spent years coaching in private gyms and community centres across the GTA and working with the City of Toronto before deciding to team up to create Aim High—because that’s exactly what they hope every child will do.

Now, alongside a dedicated team of coaches, they continue their work with the Toronto District School Board (TDSB) and private schools, bringing their expertise to even more young gymnasts. With over 20 years of experience, Marie and Janice, both certified Level 2 NCCP gymnastics coaches, specialize in skill development, kinder gym, and recreational gymnastics. Their combined expertise in early childhood movement and technical training allows them to create engaging, structured programs that help young gymnasts build strength, coordination, and a strong belief in themselves.

Together, they’ve built programs where every child, regardless of skill level, feels encouraged, challenged, and supported. Backed by a passionate coaching staff, Aim High is more than just gymnastics—it’s a place where kids develop resilience, skills, and a love for the sport while reaching for their goals.
